I'm a Muslim, and I swear to god I loved this Christian university because it was full of love and good treatment, it was the best experience I ever had in the US . Especially the city which is Clinton and Jackson was the best cities I been to , they are so nice so friendly so kind
If you are not a Caucasian student, race WILL LIKELY be an issue for you. People seemed friendly at first. But the longer I attended classes I realized if you downplay yourself and fit into their mold (which means tolerating feeling alone because there are not even a handful of black people in one sitting, tolerating uncomfortable race issues and discussions from a conservative perspective which basically means the same old thought toward non whites) you might be fine... I had such high social anxiety as a student here.... I had a teacher, who was ignorantly racist, made fun of my name and ask me if I was a real United States citizen. She still teaches in the Paralegal Studies department and likely nothing was done to reprimand her (Rebecca Keith a local attorney).
Picturesque campus, great teacher to student ratio, and the best wifi on a college campus I've seen.
MC is a very positive environment to grow both in faith and in knowledge.
