Great if your in a pinch or are really craving it. The food is comfort, but besides the classic breakfast goods on the menu, things tend to be over salted and overcooked. HOWEVER, the classic breakfast foods fill up every expectation that you might have. The staff is either a hit or miss but is usually the latter, with bickering and often unconcealed arguments at times leading to yelling tensing up the atmosphere. The restaurant is also not the cleanest... However, it does have a certain air of nostalgia with its jukebox on old diner design. It is open super late if you do want real food at the most uncanny of hours, giving way for opportunities for some of the most unforgettable memories, especially in such a small town.
Piss poor service! I waited for 15 minutes before I was even acknowledged! After I asked the waitress was she going to take my order she asked if I had a call in order. Really? I told her no mam. Then the cook proceeds to tell me that he can not take my order because he has to make grits and eggs... etc. really and that he's just trying to do his job!!! Imagine that! Will not be going back to this location!!!
Please, please forgive me ... I really do not like to be negative on any level. Simple and to the point - my experience was one of the worst - all cold food, overcooked eggs, lukewarm coffee, missing items (cor an uncomplicated order) and fair service with a very small crowd. Our server was so kind and pleasant, but my table of people were so disturb by the poor quality of food that the inattentiveness of our server only added insult to injury. It will be some time before I visit this location. Like the server ... people were pleasant ... food not so much!! It is time for America to pull their earbuds out of their ears, and get plugged into doing their work well. Hope things for you at this location, Waffle House. You are kind people.
it was not the best experince i have had.we had to sit at differnt tables and it took about 4 of use to get our food and the other hafle of use got it in like to secinds. but as we are siting there, there is another grouop of people that came in and then they got there food befor we did and they had more food than every one at our table combined
